Political Tax Credit
We have much to be thankful for as Americans. But many of the values and liberties that have made our way of life so blessed are now being threatened. That’s why it’s imperative that each of us does our part to protect those values. Your Political Tax Credit contribution is one excellent way to do exactly that.
Political Tax Credit Summary
The Political Tax Credit allows most married couples to give up to $100* to a qualified political committee–most singles can give up to $50*-and then receive every penny back when they file their 2014 Oregon tax return.
The deadline is December 31. If you don’t respond by then, you will pay this same amount of money in state taxes instead. Click Here to Donate Now.
In other words, you can take a portion of the money you would normally pay in state taxes and use it to help defend religious liberties, instead. Remember, this is money you absolutely cannot keep. If it doesn’t go to a qualified political organization like the Oregon Family Council PAC, you must pay it to the state in taxes.
Remember, it’s your Political Tax Credit support that enables us to distribute some 400,000 Christian Voter’s Guides in more than 1,900 Oregon churches, support pro-family candidates, register pro-family voters and assist pro-family ballot measures each election cycle.
Mail your political tax credit contribution to the Oregon Family Council PAC, or donate online to the Oregon Family Council PAC before December 31. You will then receive the entire amount back on your Oregon tax return, up to $100 for married couples or $50 for single tax filers. Naturally, you must be a taxpayer to take advantage of this opportunity.
Thank you so much for your continued support. Click Here to Donate Now.
*Please note, due to a recent change in Oregon law, individuals with adjusted gross income over $100,000 or joint filers with combined income exceeding $200,000 no longer qualify for the Political Tax Credit.
