For more than 25 years, Oregon Family Council has worked towards encouraging and equipping the Christian community to take an active role in society through the elections and legislative process. In 2004, we founded the Defense of Marriage Coalition, a bi-partisan organization of concerned pastors, elected officials, community leaders and citizens, united together to preserve marriage as a union only between one man and one woman. Since 1980 we have published the Christian Voter's Guide, a non-partisan voting resource distributed free of charge statewide for both major elections and ballot measures. We are also an active voice in the Oregon State Legislature and provide important information and resources for Oregon's pastors and Christian community.
