Welcome to Oregon Family Council

Thank you for visiting our website today.  For over 40 years, Oregon Family Council has worked to encourage and equip the faith community to take an active role in society through the elections and legislative process.  Since 1980 we have published the Christian Voter’s Guide, a non-partisan voting resource distributed free of charge to a statewide audience for ballot measure, primary, and general elections. We are thankful for all those that partner with us to make all we do possible.

School Board Endorsement Guide

The Special Election is coming up on May 18th. This is a crucial election, and we strongly encourage you to participate! Oregon Family Council has made a number of endorsements for school board candidates this year. These candidates are dedicated to getting students back in the classroom, better equipping students for the future, preserving parental involvement, and protecting our students from radical curriculum. We have compiled these endorsements into a voter’s guide that we hope will be helpful to you as you fill out your ballot.

To access the guide, click here.

* Please note that our endorsement guide is not an exhaustive list. We sent questionnaires to over 120 candidates in school districts across the state, and the endorsed candidates are those who chose to complete the survey and whose responses align with the principles of Oregon Family Council. Simply because a candidate is not listed does not automatically indicate they do not hold the same values as those endorsed.

A Dollar-for Dollar Credit

The Political Tax Credit is a no-cost way to support the political cause of your choice, allowing you to direct a portion of your tax dollars in a way that YOU choose. It is a credit, not a deduction. Most people can give up to $100* for joint filers or $50* for individuals to an Oregon political organization and that amount will be credited back to you on tax day. Contributions must be dated no later than December 31st, 2021, to receive the credit on your 2021 Oregon tax return. To make a Political Tax Credit contribution, click HERE.
