History

Oregon Family Council, Inc. was established in 1980 primarily to provide Oregon’s Christian community information about elections and voting. In the beginning this primarily took shape in the form of the Christian Voter’s Guide and was distributed through a small network of Portland area churches.

Within four years, the popularity of the Christian Voter’s Guide grew and soon it was being published and distributed to a statewide audience. Today over 1900 Oregon churches make the Christian Voter’s Guide available to their congregations. Thousands of voters across the state also receive a free copy of the Christian Voter’s Guide delivered in their mailbox around election time.

With your help, Oregon Family Council, Inc. will continue educating, equipping, and motivating Oregon’s Christian community to continue to be the “salt of the earth” and “light of the world” through strategic involvement in the civic arena.
