Pray for our Leaders
Over the past several months there has been a number of stories in the news about political leaders falling into various misdeeds and moral failings. These stories are a reminder that we live in an imperfect world with imperfect people. Now more than ever, people of faith need to remember our elected state and federal leaders in prayer. I Timothy 2:1-3 states:”Pray for all kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”
The Oregon Family Council would like to encourage our supporters and people of faith from across the state to pray for the leaders in our state. It’s easy to forget how stressful the life of a politician can be and the responsibility and pressure that comes with this job. Please remember to say a prayer for our elected officials over the next few months. They deserve our prayerful support to make wise decisions and govern in righteousness. We may not agree with every politician but we do have a responsibility as Christians to pray. Please join Oregon Family Council in prayer for our state and its leadership.
